User Data Deletion Instructions for DJAM Threads
Effective date: 12 August 2026
You may request deletion of information processed by DJAM Threads in connection with your Threads account.
How to Request Deletion
Send an email to:
Use the following email subject:
Data Deletion Request — DJAM Threads
Include:
- Your Threads username.
- The email address associated with your account in DJAM Threads, if applicable.
- A statement confirming that you want information associated with your use of DJAM Threads to be deleted.
Do not send your Threads or Meta password.
We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify that the request relates to your account.
What We Will Delete
Following verification, we will delete information associated with your use of the Service, which may include:
- stored Threads user ID and profile information;
- OAuth access tokens;
- account connection information;
- saved drafts and publication settings;
- publication records;
- media stored by the Service;
- other personal information linked to your Service account.
We will also revoke or disable the Service's stored authorization to access your Threads account where technically possible.
Processing Time
We will acknowledge your request and normally complete deletion within 30 days.
Information may be retained for a longer period only where required by applicable law, necessary to protect the security of the Service, or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where limited information must be retained, it will no longer be used to provide the Service.
Content Already Published on Threads
Deleting information from DJAM Threads does not automatically delete:
- your Threads account;
- information stored independently by Meta;
- posts or media already published on Threads.
You can delete published content directly through Threads.
Revoking Access
You may also revoke the Service's access through the settings available in your Meta or Threads account.
Revoking access prevents future API access but may not automatically delete information already stored by the Service. To request complete deletion, follow the email procedure above.
Confirmation
After completing the request, we will send a confirmation to the contact address used for the deletion request.
