Terms of Service for DJAM Threads

1. Description of the Service

The Service provides tools for connecting a Threads account and using supported Threads API functionality.

Depending on the available features, the Service may allow users to:

• view basic information about a connected Threads profile;
• create and store drafts;
• publish text, images, and videos to Threads;
• schedule publications;
• review publication status and technical errors;
• manage other supported Threads API functions.

Available functionality may change as the Service or the Threads API changes.

2. Eligibility and Authority

You may use the Service only if:

• you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms;
• you are authorized to use the connected Threads account;
• your use of the Service is permitted by applicable law;
• your account and content comply with Meta's and Threads' applicable terms and policies.

You may not connect or control a Threads account without the account owner's authorization.

3. Account Connection

The Service uses Meta's authorization process to connect to your Threads account.

You are responsible for:

• maintaining the security of your account;
• reviewing the permissions requested by the Service;
• revoking access when you no longer use the Service;
• promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized use.

We do not request your Threads or Meta password.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit through the Service.

You grant us a limited permission to process, store, transmit, and submit that content solely to operate the Service and perform actions requested by you.

You represent that:

• you own the content or have permission to use and publish it;
• the content does not violate third-party rights;
• publication of the content is lawful;
• the content complies with Threads' and Meta's policies.

You remain responsible for content published through your connected Threads account.

5. Prohibited Use

You must not use the Service to:

• violate any applicable law;
• access an account without authorization;
• publish spam or deceptive content;
• harass, threaten, or impersonate another person;
• infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
• distribute malware or malicious code;
• interfere with the Service, its infrastructure, or the Threads API;
• bypass technical limits or security controls;
• collect or process information in violation of Meta's policies;
• use the Service for any fraudulent or abusive purpose.

We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service depends on third-party systems, including services provided by Meta Platforms.

We do not control and are not responsible for:

• the availability of Threads or the Threads API;
• changes to API permissions, limits, or functionality;
• actions taken by Meta regarding your Threads account;
• content stored or processed independently by Meta;
• interruptions caused by third-party services.

Your use of Threads is also governed by Meta's applicable terms and policies.

7. No Affiliation With Meta

DJAM Threads is an independent service.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Service is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc.

“Meta” and “Threads” are trademarks of their respective owners.

8. Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Service where reasonably necessary.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

Features may stop working because of API changes, authorization expiration, service maintenance, security incidents, or decisions made by Meta.

9. Fees

Any applicable fees, subscription terms, or usage limits will be presented separately before payment or activation of a paid feature.

Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, fees paid for completed service periods are non-refundable.

10. Privacy

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and revoke its access to your Threads account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access where:

• you violate these Terms;
• your use creates a security or legal risk;
• access is required to be restricted by Meta or another service provider;
• continued operation of the Service is no longer technically or commercially feasible.

Termination does not remove obligations or liabilities that arose before termination.

12. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee that:

• every publication will be successfully delivered to Threads;
• scheduled publications will occur at an exact time;
• the Threads API will remain available or unchanged;
• the Service will be free from interruptions or technical errors.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sole Proprietor Veronika Viktorovna Nikitina will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service.

This includes losses resulting from failed publications, loss of access to a Threads account, API interruptions, content removal, or actions taken by Meta.

Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service during the six months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the Service, applicable law, or third-party platform requirements change.

The current version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.

Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the Russian Federation, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection or data protection rights that apply in your country of residence.
